While there will be a lot of focus on what Apple will be bringing to the tablet world later today there are already a number of worthy devices available on the Android platform, and now the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition gets its price unwrapped for India.
A few days ago we heard how much the device will cost consumers in the UK, and now the company has officially launched the new Galaxy Note 10.1 in India and priced it at Rs. 49,990. The device brings a lot for your money though and features a stunning 10.1-inch display at a resolution of 2560x 1600 with an impressive pixel density of 300ppi.
This is powered by the Samsung Exynos 5 Octa processor running at a clock speed of 1.9GHz and paired with 3GB of RAM. This is running the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean operating system along with Samsung’s TouchWiz overlay, and the device comes with an S Pen stylus along with a variety of Galaxy Note 3 features such as Action Memo among a number of others.
Other specifications include an 8-megapixel rear facing camera with LED flash and BSI sensor and is capable of Full HD video capture, while around the front is a 2-megapixel shooter. Internal memory comes in at either 16GB or 32GB that is expandable by a further 64GB via microSD card.
There is also an 8,220 mAh battery, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, stereo speakers, and it will be available in either Classic White or Jet Black colour options from this coming weekend. The company also revealed that the device will come with some special Content Gifts via the Samsung app store, which will include a free six months subscription to a digital magazine.
