The Apple iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C are both proving popular and we recently informed readers that buying either smartphone through Boost Mobile in the US would save you $100 over Apple’s pricing. However, there is now further discount available with a promotion on the iPhone 5S or 5C from Boost, and you could save up to $200.
Boost Mobile is a pre-paid subsidiary of Sprint and last week announced its pricing for the iPhone 5S, 5C ready for its launch of the phones on November 8.
if you purchase the iPhone 5S or 5C through Boost Mobile you have to pay the full upfront cost as the company does not offer contract subsidies, but that will suit many people especially with the savings available.
The iPhone 5S and 5C prices from Boost are $100 less than Apple is charging for unsubsidized prices (more details here). So that means you’ll pay $549.99 for the 16GB iPhone 5S at Boost Mobile or $449.99 for the 16GB iPhone 5C.
Now that the phones are actually available at Boost Mobile a further incentive could save you another $100. That’s a saving of $200 in total, and that’s certainly worth having.
This latest promotion is open through November 24 and offers a $100 discount for those purchasing the iPhone 5S or 5C through Boost Mobile retail stores to new customers who are switching from another carrier.
Please note this is an in-store offer only and only available until November 24. Thus the entry-level price for the iPhone 5S outright on Boost Mobile could be as low as $449.99. For the iPhone 5C on Boost Mobile you could pay as little as $349.99.
However it’s worth noting that although supplies of the iPhone 5C are plentiful, the iPhone 5S is still proving harder to get hold of. For example a quick look at Boost Mobile online shows all models of the iPhone 5S as being currently out of stock.
Are you intending to purchase the iPhone 5S or 5C outright via Boost Mobile? Will you also be able to take advantage of the extra $100 saving for new customers? Let us have your comments on this.
