While Motorola may be about to steal the crown for the best budget smartphone there are still a number of other handsets available that are even cheaper, and the LG Optimus L1 II Dual is now available for purchase in India.
The Motorola Moto G is not due to be released in the country until early in 2013 but the LG Optimus L1 2 Dual is now available online for purchase in India with immediate free shipping. The handset was launched back in August and is priced at Rs. 6,499 and this version comes with dual SIM support for the region.
The budget handset features a 3-inch QVGA display with a resolution of 240 x 320 that is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor clocked at 1GHz, which is paired with 512MB of RAM running the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.
There is only 4GB of on board storage but is expandable by another 32GB via microSD card, and camera wise we have a 3-megapixel rear facing camera that is paired with a 0.3-megapixel front facer for self portraits and video conferencing.
Supplying the juice is a 1,540 mAh battery pack and it also features an FM radio for free music on the go, and delivery is promised within 3 working days.
