LG G2 Mini release possibility
Last year Samsung got the ball rolling with the launch of the Galaxy S3 mini and since then we have seen more so called mini versions of flagship handsets, but now there are rumours of a LG G2 mini release early next year.
Until Sony came up with their mini version of the Xperia Z1 that has only been seen in the Far East so far, other devices were scaled down in size but so were specifications. Now it seems that LG will be taking a leave out of Sony’s book with the LG G2 Mini.
The device will supposedly feature a 4.7-inch display compared to the 5.2-inch screen the LG G2 has, but the resolution of the display is not known. The rest of the specifications are set to be the same as the larger sized model so that will mean we will see the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad core processor paired with 2GB of RAM.
It is thought that the LG G2 Mini could be unveiled at next month’s CES 2014 event taking place in Las Vegas, but until we hear something official this rumour has to be taken with the usual pinch of salt.
There will be many that won’t consider the device mini considering the 4.7-inch display that puts it at the same size as the HTC One, and there are many that are looking forward to the global launch of the Sony Xperia Z1 Mini that will see a smartphone with a 4.3-inch display.
Do you like the sound of the LG G2 Mini?

If the mini has the same battery life, processing power and ram as the G2 daddy, then it’s going to be one hell of a phone (plastic back or not).
