Smartphone fans have a lot of highly desirable handsets to choose from when deciding to purchase a new device, and this choice is constantly growing all the time. Now though the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 easily beats the competition in some poll results.
There will be a lot of opinion when it comes to what is the best smartphone that is currently available, and of course will often come down to personal preference, but a recent reader survey by the guys over at Phone Arena has found that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the smartphone of 2013.
The handset achieved almost a quarter of the vote achieving 24.31%, which pushed the LG G2 into second place that managed to win 12.96% of the public vote. Just behind that in third position is the LG Nexus 5 with 12.87% of the total vote.
Apple’s latest flagship smartphone the iPhone 5S didn’t fair to well with readers of the website only gaining 6.7% of the vote finishing in seventh place, which was behind the Nokia Lumia 1520 that had 7.69% of the vote, which previously beat out the Galaxy Note 3 for the most desirable phablet device, and the HTC One trailed in at fifth place with 8.85%.
Meanwhile the 2013 Nexus 7 was voted the best tablet device of 2013 on 25.29% beating the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition into second place with 18.24%, and finishing off the top 3 was the Apple iPad Air with 16.37% of the vote.
