More affordable but still feature packed smartphones have always been big business especially for those consumers that don’t need the most powerful handset, and now one such device the HTC Desire 501 dual SIM India release nears but a price is still MIA.
Towards the end of last month HTC officially unveiled a number of new Desire handsets, and now the dual SIM HTC Desire 501 has appeared on the official HTC India website as “coming soon”. The handset has yet to receive a release date or any pricing but there will be many looking to pick up the handset once it becomes available.
The smartphone features a 4.3-inch display at a resolution of 480 x 800 with a 217ppi pixel density which is powered by a dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. This is paired with 1GB of RAM, and on board storage comes in at 8GB with expansion possible up to 32GB via microSD card.
The HTC Desire 501 is running the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system that is paired with the HTC Sense 4.0 overlay, while connectivity comes in the form of Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, and NFC. There is an 8-megapixel rear camera with auto focus and LED flash, while around the front is a 2.1-megapixel shooter.
