We always try to keep readers in India informed about new smartphones there, and today another Intex Aqua smartphone has been disclosed on the company’s website. The Intex Aqua i2 specs have been revealed and we have further details ahead.
In the last few weeks we’ve given information on the Intex i17 octa-core smartphone and also more recently the Intex i-4+. The Aqua i2 now joins the fray and specs include a 1.2GHz MediaTek MT6572 dual-core processor, a 5-inch display with resolution of 854 x 480, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD to 32GB.
The camera set-up includes a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash as well as a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and the phone also has a 1700 mAh battery. Further Aqua i7 specs include FM radio and a 3.5mm radio jack and connectivity options include 3G HSPA, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
The Aqua i2 is a Dual SIM (GSM + WCDMA) smartphone with Dual Standby and runs the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system. Dimensions of the phone are 144.4mm x 72.88mm x 8.9mm. The handset will be available in black, green or white color options.
At the moment there’s no official news on the Intex Aqua i2 price or when the phone will release, although Intex does show it as ‘coming soon’ on the website.
