We often bring details of smartphones for India and today we have news of two new Micromax Bolt phones, the A28 and A59. These are budget handsets although pricing has not yet been specified. However, the specs have shown up with an online retailer.
The Micromax Bolt A28 and A59 join others in the already popular lineup of Bolt handsets, and we’ll give you some specs details for each. The Bolt A28 has a 1GHz Cortex A5 processor, Mali 300 graphics, and a 3.5-inch display with resolution of 480 x 320.
The A28 also has expandable internal storage via microSD to 32GB, a 0.3-megapixel camera at both the front and back, and a 1500 mAh battery. It runs the rather old Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, Micro-USB, GPRS, and EDGE. The Micromax Bolt A28 is a Dual-SIM handset (GSM+GSM) with Dual Standby and dimensions are 116.9mm x 62.5mm x 12.5mm while it weighs in around 89g.
Now we move onto the Micromax Bolt A59 and this one is also a Dual-SIM handset (GSM+GSM) with Dual Standby. It has a 1GHz Spreadtrum SC7710 processor, Mali 300 graphics, a 3.5-inch display with resolution of 480 x 320.
The A59 has internal storage that’s expandable via microSD to 16GB, a 2-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, and 1500 mAh battery. This one runs the later Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Pre-loaded apps for the A59 include Opera, Hike, Game HUB and more and its dimensions are 135mm x 67mm x 10mm.
Both of these smartphones are currently listed on Flipkart as ‘coming soon’ but with no specific launch date available. However, potential customers can opt to be notified about the device. You may also be interested in another phone that has been disclosed for India today, the Intex Aqua i2.
