Intex Aqua Octa vs Xolo Q3000 in tough decision
Two new smartphones for India that are very similar when it comes to specs are the Intex Aqua Octa and the Xolo Q3000, choosing one of these handsets will be a tough decision.
We have decided to give a brief Intex Aqua Octa vs Xolo Q3000 description of the handsets, the Intex Aqua Octa price in India is only Rs 19,999 and the Xolo Q3000 recently went up on sale for Rs 18,849, so when it comes to the pricing there is not much difference really.
So how do the Intex Aqua Octa and Xolo Q3000 compare when it comes to key features?
Both Intex and Xolo provided decent and affordable smartphones and we cannot doubt that for one moment, they both offer great technologies within their handsets with advanced features to boot.
The Xolo Q3000 comes with a 5.7-inch full HD IPS touch display featuring 1920 x 1080 pixels, the Intex Aqua Octa is slightly larger with a 6-inch HD OGS IPS touchscreen display with resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels — Display size winner goes to the Intex Aqua Octa.
Both smartphones come running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, the Q3000 has a 1.5GHz quad core MediaTek MT6589T processor, the Aqua Octa is fitted with a 1.7GHz octa core MediaTek MT6592 processor — Processor size goes to Intex Aqua Octa.
Both the Intex Aqua Octa and Xolo Q3000 draw when it comes to the cameras, both are fitted with a 13MP 1080p rear lens and LED flash, the Xolo Q3000 features BSI 2 sensor. They both come with a 5MP front-facing camera — This is a draw when it comes to the camera.
The Xolo Q3000 has a 4000 mAh battery and the Intex Aqua Octa battery is a lot smaller at 2300 mAh — Battery size winner goes to the Q3000.
It is a draw when it comes to memory, both handsets have 2GB of RAM and 16 GB on-board storage. They come with Wi-Fi, GPS, 3G, Bluetooth, and dual SIM with dual standby feature.
We love both of these handsets; those that live in India will have a hard choice choosing between the Intex Aqua Octa and the Xolo Q3000. The Intex Aqua Octa wins in the display and processor size, but display resolution quality and battery size goes to the Xolo Q3000, we would prefer the Xolo Q3000 but the Intex Aqua Octa is still a very good smartphone choice.
Do you prefer the Intex Aqua Octa or the Xolo Q3000? Could the Xolo Q3000 be a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 alternative?
