Popular Chinese device manufacturer Coolpad has just introduced the Coolpad Halo at CES 2014. This distinguishes itself by having not just an octa-core processor but also a 7-inch Full HD display. Read on for further details on specs and more.
The Coolpad Halo packs a 1.7GHz MediaTek MT6592 octa-core processor and has Mali 450-MP4 graphics. It has 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD and has a 7-inch IPS OGS display with resolution of 1920 x 1200.
This is a dual SIM (WCDMA + GSM) handset that has HDMI support, NFC and a very sizeable 4000 mAh battery. It caries a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, dual LED flash, 5 lens optics and f/2.0 aperture with 1080p video capture, as well as a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
It has 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, FM radio and a 3.5mm audio jack and when the Coolpad Halo releases this month is will be running the Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean operating system. The price for China will be 1888 Chinese Yuan.
