A new tablet has just been launched for India to join other devices in the iBall Slide line-up. The iBall Slide 7236 2G is a budget tablet with voice-calling and we have details ahead, including price, specs and more.
The Slide 7236 2G comes hot on the heels of the iBall Slide 7271 HD7 that was introduced earlier this month. The device is now listed on the company website where the iBall Slide 7236 2G price is shown as Rs. 7,499.
This is a dual SIM (GSM+GSM) with dual standby device and specs include a 1.3Ghz ARM Cortex A7 dual-core processor and a 7-inch WVGA display with resolution of 800 x 480. It has 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage that’s expandable via microSD to 32GB.
Other iBall Slide 7236 specs include a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, a VGA front-facing camera, and 2500 mAh battery. It has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, EDGE, GPRS and Micro-USB but it’s important to note that it does not have 3G connectivity.
The tablet runs the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system and it will be interesting to see if the iBall Slide 7236 2G finds a niche among the wide range of affordable tablets already available on the market.
