HTC Desire 310 reveal is unexciting
An upcoming HTC smartphone has been uncovered after it was glimpsed on a company website. The HTC Desire 310 has a quad-core processor but otherwise is pretty unexciting. We have specs and more details coming right up.
Recently we informed readers about rumors of a new HTC Desire handset that would feature a MediaTek quad-core processor and come in some bright color options. However, the HTC Desire 310 does not appear to be that same device as it has some very different specs from the earlier leaked phone.
The HTC Desire 310 is said to be powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6582M quad-core CPU, have a 4.5-inch display with resolution of 854 x 480, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage (expandable). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera (no flash), VGA front-facing camera, a 2000 mAh battery and runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
It’s a dual SIM phone and other specs include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and Bluetooth 4.0. Dimensions are said to be 131.44mm x 68.03mm x 11.25mm and it weighs 140g. The release is expected to be coming soon and it will be available in black or white color options.
This should be an affordable smartphone and it will be interesting to see the price that HTC comes up with when it launches. The original HTC page has been removed but not before Blog of Mobile (Google Translated) provided the details.
Does the HTC Desire 310 sound like a phone you might buy when it releases? Send us your comments about this upcoming handset.
