Student finance help with new Beans ID app
Next week is National Student Money Week, so I wanted to let you know about a new iPhone app ‘Student Beans ID’ for university students which acts as a digital student ID that allows users to discover and unlock thousands of student discounts on the high street.
This new technology replaces the traditional student discount card that is carried around in wallets up and down the country and has over 5,000 venues listed (national chains and local businesses) – more local content than on any other student discount app.
Student Beans, the university lifestyle brand, has launched new iOS app Student Beans ID. The app is a free digital student ID that allows users to discover and unlock thousands of student discounts on the high street. This innovative new app will replace the need for traditional student discount cards that can cost up to £10. Students can claim discounts in store at high street shops, restaurant and entertainment venues and they can also discover new places that provide a student discount in their local area.
There are over 5,000 venues made up of local businesses and national chains across the UK that have signed up for free, including Jack Wills, Zizzi, French Connection, La Tasca, Cineworld, O2, New Look, Hotel Chocolat, Urban Outfitters, Krispy Kreme, with more venues being added to the app daily.
The Student Beans team of over 30 campus brand managers have spent the last few months signing up businesses in their university town – from cafes to curry houses, gyms and leisure centres to cinemas, beauty salons and hairdressers. Student Beans ID has more local content than on any other student discount app.
Download the app right now via the App Store — Will you be using the Student Beans ID app?
