There are likely to be plenty of readers in India considering purchasing the new Micromax Canvas Duet 2, a quad-core smartphone with dual SIM (GSM+CDMA) support. We’ve previously given initial details of this phone and now we have news of the Micromax Canvas Duet 2 price and availability at Flipkart.

The MRP of this handset was announced at Rs. 15,999, although we heard that Mahesh Telecom was set to sell the phone from launch at Rs. 15,790. Now the Canvas Duet II has gone on sale via popular online retailer Flipkart where it has been priced at Rs. 15,790.

Canvas Duet 2 (EG111) specs include a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, a 5.3-inch IPS display with resolution of 1280 x 720, 1GB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD to 32GB.

It also has an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and 2300 mAh battery. Connectivity options include 3G (EVDO/HSDPA), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, and GPS.

This handset also has a 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio with recording, and runs the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Dimensions of the Canvas Duet 2 are 76.9mm x 154.9mm x 9.9mm, it weighs 164g and comes in black.
