Since Google and LG released the Nexus 5 a few months ago the handset has been well received among those that have used or purchased one, but that’s not to say the device has had a trouble free life as the Nexus 5 camera problems roll on.
The biggest criticism that has been levelled at the Nexus 5 is the handsets camera, which was recently discussed in a video we recently provided you. Some of the problems may not even be affecting all users, while many of the issues faced by owners of the device are likely to be software related.
One problem that keeps appearing is a hissing sound when using the camera to capture video and has been affecting the handset for a few months now, and despite the release of the Android 4.4.2 update for the handset that was to improve the camera, this problem hasn’t gone away.
Google feels that the issue is related to a software problem and sources are claiming that Google is currently working on a fix to be provided in a future firmware update. Some owners of the handset have even traded it in for something else due to the frustrating problem.
There have been issues with a number of Nexus devices since the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update was rolled out to end users, and owners of the Nexus 4 will certainly vouch for that with problems affecting Wi-Fi connections among a number of others.
Have you had issues with the Nexus 5 camera?
