While Motorola now has some new owners it hasn’t stopped the company expanding its range of handsets to new countries, and following on from the Moto G the Motorola Moto X India release is imminent.
At the ongoing Mobile World Congress in Spain Motorola has announced that the Moto X will be finding its way to more regions in the coming weeks which include India. The handset will be coming hot on the heels of the Moto G that has proved to be really successful and initially sold out within one hour of going on sale.
It will be interesting to see how the company sets the pricing of the Moto X in India but to quickly recap the device features a 4.7-inch touchscreen display at a resolution of 720 x 1280 with a 316ppi pixel density.
This is powered by the dual core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor running at a clock speed of 1.7GHz, which is paired with 2GB of RAM. There is 16GB of un-expandable built in storage with the handset running Android 4.4 KitKat.
On the back is a 10-megapixel camera paired with a 2-megapixel front facer, while other features include Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, GPS, 2,200 mAh battery, and GLONASS. The Moto X measures 129.3mm x 65.3mm x 10.4 mm weighing 130 grams.
