If you’ve been waiting, along with very many others, for the release of the QuizUp Android version then we have some news that may excite you. We’ve been following the progress of this app and just a few days ago informed that it could release at some point this week. Although the app hasn’t yet been released, Plain Vanilla is now sending out an early access invitation for QuizUp for Android.
After first anticipating a release of the Android app in January, this was then updated to an expected February release. We contacted Plain Vanilla last week and were informed they were hopeful it would release during this week. That hasn’t quite happened yet but we have now been contacted with an early access invite to test the beta mode.
We had previously heard that some invitations for the QuizUp Android beta had been issued, but the email we received today indicates that the invitation has been extended to everyone who signed up on Plain Vanilla’s mailing list for information about the Android app.
Plain Vanilla says, “We know that you have been waiting patiently for QuizUp to launch on Android, so after months of blood, sweat, bug fixes and tears, we are thrilled to offer you early access.” People who want to get a head start on the app can do so following these steps, as informed by Plain Vanilla.
Join the QuizUp for Android Google+ Community with your Google account. You must be a member of this group in order to try out our app pre-release. Make a note of the Google Account you’re logged in to when you join the group (you should use the Google account you use with the Google Play Store).
After being approved you will be able to download the QuizUp Beta via a download link on the group page. Plain Vanilla asks those trying the beta mode to report any bugs found in its Google+ Community. If you’re not trying out the early access the company still says that the app is due for a release “shortly.”
Will you take advantage of the chance to check out the beta version of QuizUp for Android?
