Mobile users can keep a track on what the weather will be like today or even in the future thanks to the numerous applications that are available. Today we have news of the Weather Pod app for iOS that has just been treated to a feature rich update.

Weather Pod was originally released last year for iOS devices owners and the application has now been treated to a major update, which provides fast and accurate weather information based on the users current location.

The new update brings an all new design that now offers a quicker and easier to use interface that takes full advantage of the operating systems swipe and touch functionality. The app no longer uses live motion video backgrounds, but instead has background graphics that will reflect on the users current weather conditions.

So if it is raining or snowing where you are this will be seen on the application, and users can quickly move between live updates for the current weather conditions to hourly, daily, and weekly predictions.

Weather Pod 2.0 is available worldwide on the App Store for £0.69/$0.99 for owners of the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch running iOS 4.3 or later.
