The Nokia X range of phones was recently made official and these will be affordable Android-based handsets. We’ve already given specs and more of the Nokia X itself, and the handset has now been listed at an e-commerce site for India where it is likely to be extremely popular.
The Nokia X, Nokia X+ and Nokia XL dual-SIM handsets were already listed on the Nokia India website, but there were no details of prices or availability dates. However, the Nokia X has been given a price tag of Rs. 8,500 at the Mobile Store with a release date from March 15th, so only ten more days to wait!
Buyers will be able to choose from Black, Cyan, Green, Red, White or Yellow colour options. We should point out though, that as this listing is on a retailer website the price is not official (although a good indicator) and the availability date could change.
The Nokia X dual SIM handset for India offers GSM+GSM support with dual standby. As well as heading to the specs link above, you might also want to check out a recent hands-on video of the device. Are you intent on purchasing the Nokia X?
UPDATE: We note that The Mobile Store has since removed both the price and availability date from the listing of the Nokia X, maybe at the request of Nokia as these details have not yet been officially announced.
