At the Mobile World Congress Sony took the wraps off its latest flagship smartphone offering for 2014, which has now led to some Sony Xperia Z2 pre-orders and carrier pricing being revealed for consumers in the UK.

We have already seen some official pricing for the Sony Xperia Z2 in a number of regions along with an unlocked price, but now the Carphone Warehouse has put the handset up on its website for pre-order with some carrier pricing.

The handset is available free on monthly plans starting at £47 per month which is with Vodafone that gets you unlimited anytime minutes of talk time, unlimited SMS messages, and 3GB of 4G data downloads.

For £42 each month you can get the device again on Vodafone that has the same talk time and message allowance, but only has 1GB of 3G data while an upfront fee of £49 is required for the Sony Xperia Z2, and there are also plans for O2 and EE. The retailer has the handset listed for delivery on week beginning April 7th.
