Nokia Lumia 930 launch may come at April event
Nokia used the recent Mobile World Congress to launch its Nokia X range of Android based handsets along with a couple of new Asha devices. The company as expected didn’t showcase any new Lumia hardware but a Nokia Lumia 930 launch may come at an event in April.
Last month we heard a rumour that Nokia could launch a global version of its Lumia Icon device that would be pretty similar except the screen size and called the Nokia Lumia 930. Now serial tipster’s evleaks has suggested that Nokia will be holding an event on April 19th.
Now before you all reach for your calendars this date falls on a Saturday and of course nothing has been confirmed by the Finnish company in terms of invites being sent out. There have also been rumours of a Nokia Lumia 630 which is thought to be the replacement for the Lumia 625.
The Verizon Wireless Nokia Lumia Icon has gained a lot of interest from consumers away from the US, and it would make sense for Nokia to launch a version for the global market.
Would you like to see a global version of the Nokia Lumia Icon, and do you think this date will prove accurate?
