Recently we saw a mystery Samsung smartphone show up on an Indian import site as model SM-G870, with indicators suggesting this could be the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini. Now a further device has shown on the same import site with model number SM-G800F, with a possibility of it being the Samsung Galaxy S5 Neo.
Seven units of the SM-G800F phone were imported to India from South Korea for R&D testing, and the device is shown as having a price of Rs. 31,790 (around $520). Interestingly, the Samsung Galaxy S5 previously appeared on the same import site as model SM-G900F and a value of Rs. 33,061 (around $541).
Because of the pretty small price difference between the S5 and the unknown model G800F, the mystery model doesn’t look likely to be an S5 Mini, and we’ve already seen a device more fitting that bill as mentioned above. Instead it’s suggested that the price difference between the Galaxy S5 and the G800F is more similar to the price ratio between the Galaxy Note 3 and Note 3 Neo, implying this new model could be the Galaxy S5 Neo.
Of course at this stage this is conjecture, but would you like to see a Galaxy S5 Neo?
