As expected the Nokia X has today been launched for consumers in India with a release coming straight away, but the device is priced slightly higher than what was previously expected that the handset would cost.
The Nokia X is now available for consumers in India to purchase and before its official launch the device was listed on an online store for Rs. 8,499, but the official price of the Nokia X in the country is actually Rs. 8,599.
This places the handset below Nokia’s Lumia range of handsets but above the Asha range of devices, and comes in Black, Cyan, Green, Red, White, and Yellow colour options across the country from today.
The company hasn’t launched the Nokia X+ or XL but these are expected to come in the next couple of months, and to recap the device features a 4-inch display at an 800 x 480 resolution powered by the dual core Snapdragon S4 processor clocked at 1GHz with 512MB of RAM.
