There’s plenty of anticipation building for the upcoming Oppo Find 7 smartphone that will be revealed at an event on March 19th. Oppo will release two versions of this handset, one with a Full HD display with resolution of 1920 x 1080 and the other with a QHD display with resolution of 2560 x 1600. Now Oppo has officially spilled the beans on some of the main specs of the Oppo Find 7 FHD model on the company’s Weibo account, and there’s also an indication of the price.
Some of the key specs of the lower-resolution Find 7 are a Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 5.5-inch display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Recently there has been plenty of speculation about a possible 50-megapixel rear camera after sample images emerged. However, Oppo states that the FHD version will sport a 5-megapixel front-facing shooter but hasn’t specified the rear camera yet, although a 13-megapixel camera could be on the cards.
It’s worth bearing in mind though, that so far Oppo has just provided some specs for the FHD variant, and so there’s still the possibility of a superior camera sensor for the QHD version. As far as the Find 7 price goes, it looks as though it could be around CNY 3,000 although this is unconfirmed. If that’s correct though, it equates to around US $490.
