There is an increasing amount of Android handsets finally getting a taste of the Android KitKat update that have included many from Samsung, and now the Galaxy S4 Android 4.4.2 update is released in the UK.
Parts of Europe had already started to see the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update arriving on the Samsung Galaxy S4 last week, but now it has been reported that the software has reached owners in the UK of unlocked and carrier versions of the handset.
There isn’t a lot of difference following the update but owners are being treated to some transparent notification bars along with a new lockscreen.
The update is being made available over the air or you can connect your device to the Samsung KIES application, and this news comes after we told you yesterday that the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 was being treated to the same update.
Have you received the new firmware yet and was it worth the wait?
