Normally with the leading smartphone manufacturers the specifications and features for upcoming new handsets are only made available by various leaks, and these can sometimes prove to be inaccurate. It is a different story though with the OnePlus One phone that has now had its display specs confirmed.

We have been treated to a number of tit bits about the upcoming new CyanogenMod phone, the OnePlus One recently, which have included some benchmarks along with details about the handsets processor and storage options.

Now the screen specs of the OnePlus One have been confirmed to include a 5.5-inch Full HD touchscreen display courtesy of Japan Display Inc., which will come with CABC and DRAM technology.

The image that you can see on this page is showing the upcoming device hiding behind the Sony Xperia Z1 that is apparently behind it, and the new screen is promised to use less power than other 5-inch displays set at the same brightness.
