The Apple iPhone has always been regarded as a premium product even though in terms of specifications it has now been passed by the competition, but the iPhone 6 price has been predicted to rise further.
Last year we saw the launch of the so called more affordable smartphone from Apple in the form of the iPhone 5C, which hasn’t sold that well considering it isn’t much cheaper than the flagship iPhone 5S.
Now Andy Hargreaves, who is an analyst with Pacific Crest, believes that Apple will increase the price of the iPhone 6 to $299 with a new two year carrier contract. The analyst feels that fans of the company would basically still pay this higher price due to the handsets new features.
This compares to the $199 asking price for the iPhone 5S and the analyst thinks that the iPhone 6 will feature a 4.7-inch display that has long been rumoured, and it will arrive in September or October while there will be no other larger display iPhone made available.
Would you pay $299 for the iPhone 6?
