At the end of February we informed readers in India that the Wickedleak Passion X smartphone with water-resistance had launched at a price of Rs. 22,500. However, just two weeks after its arrival the Passion X is seeing a price cut and is now being sold on the Wickedleak website for RS. 18,500.

That’s a tidy saving so soon after the launch and Wickedleak founder Aditya Mehta said, “We have slashed the price of Wammy Passion X from 22,500/- to 18,500/- for our valuable customers on the occasion of Holi. We hope this would make the festival even more colourful and help connect with our customers in a better way.”

As a recap the Wickedleak Passion X has a 1.7GHz octa-core processor, a 5-inch Full HD display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, expandable to 64GB via microSD. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing unit, and it runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. It uses AquaProtect technology to protect the device from water damage.
