HTC One price dropped as M8 release closes in
In only twelve days time HTC will be taking the wraps off its new flagship handset for 2014 in London and New York, and now leading up to this the HTC One price is dropped as the M8 release closes in.
It is not unusual for handset manufacturers to reduce the price of its older hardware leading up to a new model being released, and now the unlocked version of the HTC One in the US has been reduced to $499, which is $100 off.
We have already heard from a source close to a major UK retailer that there are ongoing talks to try and offer the HTC One after the M8 is released at a lower asking price, but currently over on Amazon the handset can be picked up for £391.40 for the black 32GB version.
There is also talk that the device may be officially called the HTC One M8, and this comes after we heard how a Verizon version of the upcoming handset may have been sold on eBay.
