Google Chromecast UK release looks imminent
There’s some very promising news today if you’re in the UK and have been hoping to get your hands on Google’s Chromecast HDMI dongle. It looks as though the Chromecast UK release is imminent following stocks showing up at the Currys PCWorld retailer.
There has been plenty of interest in this product in the US and a lot of anticipation building in other regions, and the image we’re showing here is claimed to be of stocks of the Chromecast dongle ready to go on sale.
Google’s Sundar Pichai recently talked about expanding Chromecast availability so we’re not exactly surprised to see this. Availability should be very soon as once the item has been added to the store systems there’s no reason to think it won’t immediately go on sale.
It’s thought that the price of Chromecast for the UK will be around £30 to £40 although that is not yet confirmed. Will you buy Google’s Chromecast when it hits shop shelves in the UK?
