The original release of the Samsung Galaxy S3 was responsible for bringing a lot of smartphone users to the company, but the device is the best part of two years old now that in the mobile world is a long time. Now though the Samsung Galaxy S3 Slim is part of a strange low spec launch.
Samsung’s Galaxy range of smartphones is getting larger all the time and the company has now introduced the S3 Slim to the Brazilian market. The device features a 4.5-inch touchscreen display at a 960 x 540 resolution, and is powered by a quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz.
There is 1GB of RAM running the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system straight out of the box, while there is 8GB of built in storage expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The device has an 8-megapixel rear camera paired with a VGA front facer.
It is powered by a 2,100 mAh battery while there is currently no information on availability or pricing, and this comes after the company announced a Samsung Galaxy S3 mini Value Edition. Owners of the GT-I9300 version of the Galaxy S3 are currently looking forward to the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update that could arrive next month.
