Updated Google Now will launch camera with voice command
Google Now is a service that is constantly updated with new features to enhance the functionality, and the latest one will let you open your device’s camera by simply tapping the microphone and saying “take a photo” or “take a video,” Sounds cool right?.
Yes it really is that simple and should have been included a while ago, but nevertheless the new feature has arrived.
Having played with the new voice command I can tell you that it is faster to actually launch the camera normally, after saying “take a photo” Google Now will show you that it’s launching and takes a good 4-5 seconds to actually fully launch and use.
More features like this are certain to come, but will they actually offer anything worthwhile or just more features that sound great but in reality make the whole process longer.
Let us know what you think about these type of features in the comments.

Somehow, just touching the icon is still faster than tapping, then talking… Oh, but this is “newer” and “cooler.”
