Fans of the Android platform can easily change the stock services that their mobile devices come with, and keyboard apps have long been popular with a number of different ones available. The free Google Keyboard has now received a nice new update that brings a welcome feature.
The stock Android keyboard has been updated by Google to include the feature of the app keeping track of your typing habits so like many other apps will offer personalized suggestions. This feature is set to on but can be turned off if a user doesn’t want it.
This information is stored to the device itself unlike other apps and monitors your typing across various apps, and when you use the app for the first time after the update users are notified about the change and how to turn the feature off.
The Google Keyboard requires Android 4.0 or later and can be found on Google Play free.
