Micromax has just launched its Canvas Tab P650E tablet for India, a CDMA version of the original Canvas Tab P650 that was previously released. The new Micromax Canvas Tab 650E is priced at Rs. 8,999, which seems realistic given the specs.

The Tab P650E is currently listed at Micromax’s online store with delivery of 7 to 10 business days, and as with the P650 it includes voice-calling. The tablet has a 1GHz Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor, 7-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD to 32GB.

Further specs of this single SIM device include a 2-megapixel rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, and a 3000 mAh battery, while it runs the rather dated Android 4.0 ICS operating system. At the same launch Micromax also made the Funbook Ultra HD P580 tablet official, although this was already available for sale last month.
