The Samsung Galaxy S5 is set to be launched officially in India tomorrow which will provide firm details about availability and pricing, but the Galaxy S5 price is already being speculated about and it could be expensive.
It is being reported that the Samsung Galaxy S5 could cost consumers in India Rs. 51,500 with pre-orders reportedly starting on the 28th of March. There will be a pre-booking price of Rs. 1,500 with talk that Samsung are going to offer 15 percent cash back for those purchasing the device with Citibank credit cards via EMI payment plans.
This would mean the device would end up costing around Rs. 43,700 with pre-orders available until the 10th of April with delivery the day after. There were hopes that the device would be sold more cheaply than the original price of the Galaxy S4 that launched at Rs. 41,500 but the Rs. 51,500 could be the MRP price so it could still come cheaper.
