If you’re in the market for a prepaid smartphone on Verizon then you might be interested in an upcoming device from LG. The LG Optimus Exceed 2 is heading to Big Red and while it won’t win any prizes for the excitement factor, it may appeal to some buyers.
Unsurprisingly, this phone is a successor to the Optimus Exceed that released last year and an image of the newer version has just been leaked by the prolific @evleaks. Although we cannot verify the authenticity of this purported press render of the Exceed 2, it does come from a very reliable source.
It’s expected that the Exceed 2 will have a display size of around 4-inches and is likely to be running Android 4.2 or later, although this is not confirmed yet. A release date has not been given but it will join Verizon’s prepaid lineup, and going on the price of its predecessor it could have a price tag of around $129.99.
