We have news today of an app that is likely to be extremely popular. The Star Wars Assault Team app has now released for iOS, Android and WP devices. This is a card-based game rather than a shooter game, with Force tricks, laser wounds and lightsaber blows being dealt out.

Part of the app description says —

Head to the following links to download the app for Android, iOS or Windows Phone. This is a free app although in-app purchases are available. The iOS app is available from iTunes and is receiving some great customer reviews already. It’s compatible with iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad running iOS 6.0 or later.

For the Android version of Star Wars: Assault team head to Google Play. This one is compatible for devices running Android 4.0 or later. Alternatively if you want the Windows Phone app go to the Windows Phone Store, where you’ll find it’s compatible with devices running Windows Phone 8 and 8.1.
