In early January we reported on the Asus PadFone X and how leaked information suggested it would release on AT&T. At that time it was thought that the device might be unveiled within the next few days at CES but then everything went strangely quiet. Now we have some Asus PadFone X specs enlightenment from AT&T.
The giant carrier has just coughed up some official details for the Asus PadFone X, although there’s still no news on a release date or price yet. The Asus PadFone X is a hybrid device consisting of a smartphone and tablet dock, and specs of the phone include a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor, 5-inch Full HD display, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD).
The handset also has a 13-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, 2300 mAh battery, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS, and it runs the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. It measures 143.93mm x 72.46mm x 9.98mm, weighing in at 150g.
On to the tablet dock and this has a 9-inch display with resolution of 1920 x 1200, a 1-megapixel front-facing camera, and 4900 mAh battery. It measures 250.4mm x 172.25mm x 11.63mm and weighs 514g.
