Galaxy Nexus Android 4.3 update release scheduled
The appeal of the Nexus line of devices is the early access to Android firmware updates, but there seems a limit to how long certain handsets will receive new firmware, now though the Galaxy Nexus Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update release is scheduled.
Recently we heard that the Verizon Wireless version of the handset may never see Android 4.3, but now Vodafone in Australia are going to update the Samsung Galaxy Nexus to the later firmware. Originally the carrier cancelled the update but now have confirmed it will be released in the coming few days.
In a bog post Vodafone confirmed that Samsung and Google got together to release the update to end users, and will start arriving to Vodafone customers from April 8th. The new Android update is down to take six days to reach all users, and hopefully other versions of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus should also see the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update eventually.
This will probably be the last update that the handset does receive though but it will be a welcomed one.

¿Por qué ponen una foto que no tiene nada que ver con el aparato del que habla el artÃculo?
I’m fairly sure that the pictured phone isn’t a Galaxy Nexus. Possibly the Nexus S. Seriously?
Try reading to source article again. Samsung cancelled the update, not the carrier.
