While smartphone manufacturers are providing us with more powerful processors running higher resolution displays, some may become concerned how long these handsets last in between charges but some Galaxy S5 battery life tests show promise.
Samsung has provided its latest flagship smartphone with a 2,800 mAh battery pack while the device now has a slightly larger 5.1-inch Full HD display. Now some early battery tests have emerged out of the company’s home country that show the handset performs quite well in these tests.
The handset beat other smartphones in its class and only got beat by larger devices with bigger battery packs such as phablets and tablet devices. The screens brightness and luminance modes were turned right up, and with the Wi-Fi turned on the Galaxy S5 managed to achieve more than 7 hours of battery life.
While it is early days yet and more tests need to be done it certainly seems that owners of the Samsung Galaxy S5 won’t be complaining about poor battery life.
