If you’ve been in two minds whether to purchase the Galaxy S5 smartphone there is some news today that might help you to decide. The Samsung Galaxy S5 has been recognized as having the best smartphone display, and that’s some accolade! The Samsung flagship was always going to be successful, and this news, after extensive testing, is likely to make the device even more popular.

The analysis was conducted by DisplayMate, which claims the Galaxy S5 has the best display on a smartphone that they’ve ever tested. Although the Galaxy S5 has the same Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 as last year’s Galaxy S4, Samsung has concentrated on improving many aspects for the S5. As DisplayMate says –

“ It has a long list of new records for best Smartphone display performance including: Highest Brightness, Lowest Reflectance, Highest Color Accuracy, Infinite Contrast Ratio, Highest Contrast Rating in Ambient Light, and smallest Brightness Variation with Viewing Angle. This is certainly a rewarding achievement for Samsung but we’re already seeing smartphones now with Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440. In fact at the weekend it was rumored that the iPhone 6 may have one of these QHD displays, so Samsung isn’t likely to be resting on its laurels.
