The LG G2 Mini was officially launched in February and will start to release in various world regions this month. Although we knew that the phone would definitely release in regions including Asia, Europe, the Middle East and more, we didn’t know if the phone would hit North America. However, the LG G2 mini has now been tipped for a release on US carrier Sprint.
This news comes from @evleaks, one of the most prolific leakers out there, who gives Sprint’s G2 mini model number as LS885. This ties in with an appearance of a model with the same number in a UA profile on Sprint’s website. This uses a Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor (some G2 mini models use a Tegra 4i chip), and is also shown as having a display resolution of 1280 x 720. This is interesting as other G2 mini models have resolution of 960 x 540.
While we’re waiting for confirmation on the above, you may be interested in checking out a recent LG G2 mini and iPhone 5S comparison. Are you hoping that this leak is accurate and that Sprint will offer the LG G2 mini?
