Nokia Lumia 1020 price cut ahead of possible new model
The Nokia Lumia 1020 has been with us now for the best part of a year but still represents a worthy Windows Phone 8 handset, but now the price is cut for the Nokia Lumia 1020 ahead of a possible new model launch.
The special event that Nokia and Microsoft are holding is taking place today with the likes of the Nokia Lumia 930 believed to be unveiled along with a new version of the operating system. Ahead of this though the company has cut the price of the Nokia Lumia 1020 by quite a large sum.
It can now be picked up in some European countries for €450 unlocked, while in Finland the device has gone as low as €399, which is down from €495. This could easily be a move for retailers to clear old stock before a new Nokia Lumia handset becomes available.
We will have to wait until later today to see what Nokia has planned for its Lumia range of handsets, but if you have been thinking of picking up the Lumia 1020 now would be a good time to do so.
Would you still consider getting the Nokia Lumia 1020?
