Sony is looking to get a bigger slice of the Android smartphone market and got things rolling last year with the release of some great handsets, and looks to build on this in 2014. We now have a Sony Xperia Z2 unboxing video for your viewing pleasure with early thoughts.

We have already seen the Sony Xperia Z2 in an extensive video review, but today we have an unboxing YouTube video courtesy of the guys over at Android Authority. The video is five minutes long and begins by mentioning that the retail box is larger than last year’s model.

After removing the handset from the box we get to see what else comes with the Sony Xperia Z2, which includes the usual things you would expect that includes some higher quality headphones. You also get a charging dock that takes advantage of the pins that are on the side of the smartphone.
