Sprint Galaxy Note 3 update is welcomed
Back in February owners of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 on US carrier Sprint started to see the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update arriving to the smartphone, but now a new Sprint Galaxy Note 3 update is being welcomed.
The carrier started to push out Wi-Fi calling earlier this year to a couple of devices, but now the network has increased this availability to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Owners of the handset should start seeing the over the air update arriving that has a build number of N900PVPUCNC5.
Once users have received the update they will be able to make voice calls and send SMS messages via a Wi-Fi connection without using up any allowances on their monthly plan. To achieve this owners will have to register their Wi-Fi network via the Sprint account settings, and the update will roll out in stages and could take a few days to reach all users.
