When we first wrote about the Huawei Ascend P7 back in December it was rumored for a release in April. That’s not going to happen, but we can now tell you that the Huawei Ascend P7 official launch event is going to take place on May 7.
There have already been plenty of rumored specs for the Ascend P7 and a recent screenshot emerged that appeared to show it will be running Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box. Huawei has now sent out media invitations to the event that will take place in Paris on the above date, although of course we don’t know if a release date will follow very shortly afterwards or whether there will be a further wait.
Unofficial key specs include a 1.6GHz quad-core processor, 5-inch Full HD LCD display, 2 GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. It’s also thought that it will have a 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front-facer and a 2460 mAh battery. Are you hoping the Huawei Ascend P7 releases shortly after its official unveiling?
