Samsung Galaxy S5 Dual-SIM release may spread
Just as we expected, the soon-to-release Samsung Galaxy S5 is grabbing plenty of headlines at the moment, and now we have heard that a dual-SIM variant has been officially launched. The phone has quietly been introduced for China Mobile but the Samsung Galaxy S5 dual-SIM release could spread further.
This new dual-SIM version has model number G9009D and it will arrive on April 11th, the same release date as for the standard Galaxy S5. It also has similar specs and these include a 2.5GHz Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor, 5.1-inch Full HD display, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal memory (expandable). It also has a 16-megapixel rear camera, 2800 mAh battery, and is dust and water-resistant.
As far as dual-SIM is concerned, one slot supports GSM while the other supports CDMA2000. It’s priced at $CNY5,299 ($850). At present Samsung says this is an exclusive for China Mobile, but we’ve previously seen Samsung dual-SIM versions launch in other markets such as India, and it’s likely that plenty of people will be hoping for this. Are you hoping the Samsung Galaxy S5 dual-SIM releases in your region?
