The Vodafone Smart range of devices has always brought consumers affordable feature packed Android hardware and the Vodafone Smart 4 mini release is certainly easy on the pocket in size and pricing.

We have been lucky enough to review the Vodafone Smart 3 handset and the Smart Tab 3, but now the network has announced the availability and price of the Vodafone Smart 4 mini. The handset costs only £50 and for your money you get a handset running the Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

The handset features a highly responsive 4-inch display at a resolution of 480 x 800 which is powered by a dual core processor clocked at 1.3GHz, which is coupled with 512MB of RAM. There is 4GB of internal storage that is expandable via MicroSD card.

Camera wise there is a 3.1-megapixel rear camera while measuring 121.6mm x 64.4mm x 12.3mm at 117grams, and the handset is part of a special promotion the carrier is running that is titled “Within Reach”, which sees Pay as You Go handsets available at really low prices such as the Sony Xperia E1 in purple for only £80, or the HTC Desire 310 in orange for only £100.
