Nokia X Dual SIM battery life put to the test
The Nokia X is generating plenty of interest as Nokia’s first Android-based device, and it also comes in a dual SIM option. The phone is proving popular in regions such as India and today we’re looking at the Nokia X Dual SIM battery life, with test benchmarks comparing it against some of the competition.
Nokia claims that the Nokia X battery life will provide around 10.5 hours of talk time on 3G or around 13 hours on 2G, and GSMArena tested the device to check out these claims and other aspects of battery life. The Nokia X is powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon S4 Play dual-core processor and has a 1500 mAh battery, so nothing much to write home about. However, the battery life fared fairly well in the testing for 3G talk time, managing 11.13h.
For web browsing though, the performance wasn’t so good, lasting just 4.55h. The final test was for video playback when after 6 hours and 10 minutes the battery had dropped to 10%. It’s important to note that the single SIM Nokia X would be likely to have slightly greater battery life because of better standby efficiency.
