The Android 4.4 KitKat update has slowly been rolling out to various devices, and if you have the Motorola Droid Razr HD or Razr M then you no longer have to fear that you’ve been forgotten. Motorola’s own David Schuster says that good progress is being made on the updates and that they should be available in just a “few more weeks.”
In the middle of last month there was speculation that Android 4.4 could be arriving imminently for the Razr HD but this failed to materialize. However Schuster’s new message about this on Google+ yesterday specifically referred to the 2012 Droid Family (HD and M) and offers real promise to those owners of these devices still waiting for their taste of KitKat.
Although Schuster didn’t mention the Razr Maxx HD, that phone does also belong to the 2012 Droid line-up, so hopefully that will also be receiving the update within a matter of weeks. Have you been patiently (or not so patiently) waiting for Android 4.4 KitKat for your Droid Razr HD, Razr M or Razr Maxx HD?
